Get ready before Monday.
Pick your machine. Pick your AI. Follow the steps in order and check them off as you go. Do this before Monday, August 3 and you build on night one instead of watching. Your checkmarks save on this device, so you can stop and come back.
Not sure about the terminal parts? Leave them. We do those together, live, at the Setup Clinic on Sunday, August 2 at 5:00 PM ET. Nobody gets left behind.
What are you on?
Which AI do you already use?
Both lanes end in the same place: a working agent on your machine. Pick the one you already pay for.
Stuck? Fix it fast.
Being stuck for more than a few minutes is a signal to ask, not to push harder. Bring it to the Setup Clinic, Sunday August 2, 5:00 PM ET — that call exists for exactly this.
“It says command not found.”
Close the terminal completely and open a new one, then try again. On Windows, make sure you are in PowerShell, not Command Prompt. Claude users can run claude doctor to diagnose. Still stuck? Raise your hand — that is what helpers are for.
“The browser never opened for sign-in.”
Look at the terminal — it prints a link. Copy that link into your browser by hand, sign in there, and come back to the terminal.
“My account is free.”
The terminal agents need paid access: Claude Code needs a paid Claude plan (Pro or higher). Codex needs a qualifying ChatGPT plan (Plus or higher). Upgrade on your phone, or flag a helper and we will figure out your fastest path.
“The agent can’t see my folder.”
The agent only works inside the folder it was started from or connected to. In the terminal: cd into your workspace folder, then launch the tool again. In the desktop app: reconnect and select the exact workspace folder.
“I don’t know what to type.”
That is the whole method: say the goal, then tell it “interview me one question at a time before you act.” The agent figures out the how. You never need the perfect prompt.
“Do I have to type everything?”
No. I don’t type anymore — I talk and it writes. Wispr Flow is voice-to-text that works everywhere on your computer, and that link gives you 30 days free. Optional, but it changed how I work more than any other tool.
“Where is the workbook?”
It was emailed and texted to you when you registered, and it lives on your Resource Hub. You can also grab it here. Bring it filled in on August 3.
“I’m nervous it will change something.”
Tell it to show you the plan first and to never delete, overwrite, or publish anything without your approval. You are the gate. It does the doing.
